Education

Students, parents, teachers, and administrators alike recognize that our schools are not where they need to be. Nevada consistently ranks at or near the bottom in education rankings. While John believes that Nevada has great and passionate educators who deserve to be commended, he knows that we have a long way to go to give Nevada families access to high-quality education.

John is committed to providing parents and students more options in education and to ensuring our teachers are treated with respect and given the working environment they deserve. He believes Nevada must expand the Charter Schools and Opportunity Scholarships, allowing more low-income families to have increased education options.

He also knows that our schools need safety and discipline reforms, like those signed into law by Governor Lombardo this year, to protect our teachers and students in the classroom.
