Healthcare

Nevada has many excellent doctors but a significant shortage of them. It can take months just to get in to see someone you need, affecting Nevadans from all walks of life.

John believes we must give our medical practitioners the best environment to provide care and expand the educational resources available to them. It is one of John’s top priorities to make Nevada a national leader in healthcare, provider ratios, and access to care.

John knows Nevada must make the process of moving to our state as easy as possible for providers. This means more licensing reciprocity and entering into agreements with other states to recognize their licenses. He also believes that our universities must expand programs to train doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to retain Nevadans looking to go into healthcare and bring in students from other states.
